Papercut Limited (“We”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy (together with our Terms of Use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.  Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. By using the service provided by www.pclpublications.com website or mobile application provided by Papercut Limited (the Service) you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.
For the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation (referred to here as GDPR), the data controller is Papercut Limited of 8 Skye Close, Torquay, Devon, TQ2 7DT.
Information we may collect from you
We may collect and process the following data about you:

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
WooCommerce
This site uses WooCommerce to present products and allow purchases. In regard to this:
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
•               Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
•               Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
•               Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
•               Send you information about your account and order
•               Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
•               Process payments and prevent fraud
•               Set up your account for our store
•               Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
•               Improve our store offerings
•               Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them
If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.
Payments

•               Unique payment identifier

Disclosure of your information
We may share your personal information with any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.
We may share your information with selected third parties including:
•               Business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them.
•               Advertisers and advertising networks that require the data to select and serve relevant adverts to you and others.
•               Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of the website.

•               In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
•               If Papercut Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
•               If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Appt Developments Group Limited, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Where we store your personal data
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services.
