Essential Apple User Magazine Vol 3
It’s time for a change, so this issue, we’ve relaunched as Essential AppleUser Magazine and now cover all Apple gadgets, not just iPhones and iPads. Yes, that’s right; we’ve added Macs (desktop and notebook), Apple TV, Apple Watch and iPod touch, for a comprehensive guide to all things Apple.
This issue is packed with some great features. Starting on Page 16, we take a look at how to keep healthy using Apple’s great gear. The amazing fitness functions of the new Apple Watch Series 4 are laid bare, and we take a look at some essential health and fitness apps for your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. We also get to grips with the watch’s Activity and Workout apps and speak to Hannah Bryant, one of the UK’s top fitness models, about how she stays in shape.
Of course, Apple gear isn’t just for workouts. Over in the tutorials section, starting on Page 64, we take a look at how to use your iPhone for entertainment, with guides to the TV app, Apple Music, Books app and how to use the video streaming services YouTube and Netflix. From Page 80 onwards, we take a look at the iPad’s productivity apps, before rounding off with a guide to which Mac you should buy, starting on Page 94.
If you’re looking for some new peripherals or apps for your gear, check out the reviews starting on Page 34. For Mac owners, we have the Veho Pebble power bank, Macally 9-Port USB and more, along with software packages such as Toast Titanium 17, CleanMyMac X and NTFS for Mac 15. For iOS devices, there’s the Shure MV88+ audio recording kit, Moshi Porto Q 5K and apps including: iTranslate Lingo, Rocket Jump! and TrainPal. Look out for some great games too.
